Jolanda Poppelaars
Jolanda Poppelaars (1980) studied law at the University of Amsterdam. During the last period of her studies she focused on criminal law, penitentiary law and human rights law and she was a trainee at the Pieter Baan Centrum (a forensic psychiatric observation clinic of the Ministry of Justice).
Since 2004 she has worked for several municipalities, where she wrote decisions on objections in social security law. Furthermore she worked as a legal consultant for UJG and carried out projects for the former Bureau voor Rechtshulp Amsterdam (Legal Aid Office), the Ministry of Justice and the Province of Noord-Holland. During this last project she has specialized in spatial administrative law, environmental law and subsidy law.
As of October 15th 2007 she works as a lawyer at Van den Biesen Boesveld Advocaten.
